Jennifer Moore, Interim Director of Strategy, Systems and Innovation
Jennifer is the Interim Director of Strategy, Systems and Innovation at HANDS, where she has also served as Director of Child and Youth Mental Health Services. A Registered Nurse by profession, Jennifer has dedicated the majority of her career to advancing mental health care. She previously held leadership roles as Director of Mental Health, Addictions and Forensics at the North Bay Regional Health Centre and as Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at the West Nipissing General Hospital. Jennifer brings a strong systems lens and a deep commitment to collaborative, community-based solutions that support children, youth, and families.

Sally Dunton, Head of Development
Sally is the Head of Development at Hands TheFamilyHelpNetwork.ca, where she leads strategic fundraising initiatives to support children, youth, and families across Northern Ontario. With over 15 years in the charitable sector, she brings deep experience in community engagement, donor relations, and nonprofit leadership. She is also an active member of the Sudbury Sunrisers Rotary Club. Outside of work, Sally enjoys audiobooks, long walks with her dog Bean, and keeping up with her three active teenagers.

We need approximately 35 to 40 Rotarians, spouses, family members and friends to help out with the stuffing of envelopes for 6 weeks.

If you have children, grand children, neighbours' kids in high school, this is one way for them to get their volunteer hours in order to graduate from high school.

Deliveries will be on Saturday, June 14th - although buyers are encouraged to avail themselves of the option of picking up their roses or carnations at Jackman's Flowers (157 Worthington Street East)  - June 13 to 16, between 9 AM and 5 PM. This will offer a wider variety of colurs to chose from.

Cost is $30 per dozen this year.

The location is:  33 Manston Crescent, North Bay, Ontario.  We are booked in for a 12:00 noon start and the cost is $4.25 per person.  Please come out just before noon so we can start right at noon for the tour.  We can collect the fee from you at the site or at our next meeting.  There is no lunch at the site but great opportunity to join your fellow Rotarians for a lunch after the visit.

Volunteers from Service clubs will be handing out cupcakes as part of the Canada Day Celebration. If you are interested in helping out, please register as a member (or if you don't have your login handy) as a guest.

North Bay’s Family of Rotary [North Bay and Nipissing clubs] will be hosting their Annual Rotary Community Day at the Rotary Splash Pad/Playground.

Besides enjoying the splash pad and playground, there will some fun activities with the North Bay YMCA and an appearance by the North Bay Police Service Community Engagement Unit and Chewie with the Victim Services of Nipissing District.

Children will also receive vouchers for kids’ meals from The Ultimate Melt and Ever Cool Icecream vendors located next to the North Bay Museum, while supplies last.

North Bay's Family of Rotary is pleased to invite families to come out to their 3rd Annual Rotary Community Day.
