17 Jun 2022 ROTARY ROSE DAY Jun 17, 2022 9:00 AM - Jun 20, 2022 5:00 PM The Rotary Club of North Bay annual Rotary Rose Day fundraiser is taking place June 17-20th. Proceeds go towards Rotary's projects and initiatives here in the community and around the world. Deliveries will be on Saturday, June 18th - although buyers are encouraged to avail themselves of the option of picking up their roses or carnations at Jackman's Flowers (157 Worthington Street East) - June 17 to 20, between 9 AM and 5 PM. This will offer a wider variety of colurs to chose from. Only $25 per dozen again this year. 30 Jun 2022 Camp Tillicum Fish Fry Jun 30, 2022 6:00 PM Our construction contractor for the Camp Tillicum project has offered us a catered fish fry at the new building as a celebration of completion of construction. This is set for Thursday June 30 at 6:00 pm. All Rotarians and spouses are invited. Thank you Don Seguin!! The cost of admission will be a donation of food/cash for the North Bay and Area Food Bank. Note that rain should not be much of a problem owing to both the new building as well as the generous outdoor porch. It would be a good idea, I think, to bring seating. There are some tables that can be gathered but not likely enough to seat everyone. Bug spray might also be good to bring. Further details will be provided via email. NOTE: This event will replace the meeting scheduled for Monday June 27.

This includes the Great Lakes Watershed Cleanup, and Rotary's partnership with Kids Against Hunger Canada, a food packing initiative that engages community members to address hunger in Canada and around the world. President Jennifer will close out the day with a fun filled Imagine Rotary BBQ hosted at the Toronto Botanical Garden. This is your opportunity to celebrate with her! July 5th - District 7010 Kids Against Hunger Canada Location: Two locations Barrie South Shore Community Center and North Bay - Osprey Links Golf Course (Callander) Time: 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm Participants: There will be two shifts of 40 packers in each of Barrie and North Bay Cost: $nil Registration: Opens at 12:00 pm May 26, 2022. Register Here Other: Pizza lunch will be provided.
