We had no speaker at our last meeting - no idea what happened but that did not stop us from having some good communication and fellowship!
We have a few special days coming up - Jeff Celentano's Birthday Sept. 1 - Happy Birthday, Jeff!
Krista and Marc celebrating 28 years of wedded bliss on Sept. 6; Craig and Linda an amazing 57 years on Sept. 7! Congratulations!

Please note that there will be no meeting on Sept.2 and we are having a clean up at Camp Tillicum followed by a BBQ and fellowship on Sept. 7 so there will be no meeting on Sept. 9th.

We have 6 students attending RYLA from Sept. 12-14th - Thank you to Bob Cunningham and John Wallace for helping out while Henry is recovering. Looking forward to hearing from the students on how the weekend impacted them!

We are looking for 2-4 members to step up and help out with the Catch the Ace committee. We have 3 lotteries we run - Bingo, Catch the Ace and Nevada - these 3 committees bring in the funds we use to support many worthwhile events and organizations which are primarily focused on children/youth in our community. Please support these committees - it could be as little as 1-2 hours per week and the more members that step up, the more we can spread the workload. Without these committees, we would not be able to help places like One Kid's Place, neo-natal equipment, breakfast programs, food banks to just name a few…..
Right now, we need 2-4 members for Catch the Ace which would mean folding the tickets, pickup from mall, stores and Osprey Golf Course - if you are able to spare 1-2 hours per week (maybe less if we get more members), please contact Steve Wright, Chair Catch the Ace committee or Pres. Jeff.
