Mark these dates in your calendar:

June 6th - Camp Tillicum Spring Clean Up - this annual event has been a lot of fun over the years with great fellowship and some hard work but so worth it at the end when we get treated to a BBQ!

June 20th - Annual Rose Day - yes, a day to treat your friends, family, co-workers and business associates to a dozen roses!  This is a fundraiser that helps with international service projects, local community projects and some of the Club's administrative costs.  Send a dozen roses to someone special - details on how to follow!

We have our outbound Youth Exchange Student, Tala leaving for Taiwan in mid-late August and our inbound, Olaia, arriving mid-August.  The students have a special jacket and if you have seen any of the exchange students around you will notice they love to decorate them with club banners and pins!  The jackets wind up weighing in at 20 lbs. one student told me!  I would ask if you could check your drawers, attics, vehicle glove compartments to see if you have any pins that you are willing to part with - they don't have to be Rotary pins - and bring them to the next few meetings so we can present them to both our outbound and inbound students so they have a good start in decorating their jackets.  Leave them on the front table and they will be collected.
