We had the pleasure of listening to two of our newer members (both members of previous Rotary Clubs) give us some great insight into their lives and family.
 
Thank you to Frances Yungwirth and Maurice Switzer for letting us get to know you a bit better.  Welcome to North Bay Rotary Club and looking forward to working with you both on future projects and committees.

During our last board meeting, there was some discussion around the table about using the Paul Harris points our club has accumulated over the years.  Please take a look at the people in our community that you would recommend for this award.  If you think someone is deserving of this recognition, please do let either Foundation Chairs - Ghislaine Cote or Yvonne Weir know.  I know we have many people in our community that go well above the normal levels of service and helping out others.  Let's recognize them!

GREAT STUDENT AWARDS
 
Don't forget Monday's meeting is all about the Students.....  there will be a great representation of some very deserving students from our local schools and this year we expanded beyond North Bay City limits!  Henry has done a great job in putting this together for Monday, February 13th.  The meeting will take place in the Ferguson Room - please enter from the Main St entrance - due to the number of people attending.

Rotary Foundation 
Peace Fellowship and Global Grant Scholarship
 
The formal recruitment cycle for the Peace Fellowship (beginning 2024) and for Global Grant Scholars (2024 – 25) in District 7010 is formally underway.
 
 There is information on our District Site under the Projects and Programs tab and Rotary Foundation link Peace Fellowship. Also, you can click on Our Programs icon at the bottom of the District website homepage and select Peace Fellowships.  See Global Grant Scholarship - please go to the website for dates, criteria, application form etc.
