Another week of Summer.... but the leaves are changing already!
On Monday, September 23th we will have our District 7010 Governor, Steve Wilkinson along with Assistant District Governor, Louise Bergeron visit our club. Please have any questions for DG Steve and ADG Louise ready whether it's to do with District or Rotary International..... we will be touring some of our major projects after the meeting as well.

The 2nd annual "Welcome to North Bay" event took place on Sept. 14th and we were well represented by both clubs. Members had a chance to showcase all the great things we do both locally and internationally. There was quite a bit of traffic and many people to talk to - we definitely plan on making this an annual event for our club!

Our speaker on Monday was our very own, Past President, Past District Governor - Bill Hagborg. His presentation was on the District 7010 "Millions to Billions" campaign. This is a fundraising drive for Foundation and Bill identified how Foundation uses the funds we donate; how easy it is to set up either a payment plan through automatic contributions that you control and even a Bequest method which is easy to do and helps for future planning with Rotary Foundation's funding. Rotary Foundation has been awarded so many times over the years as a truly well managed and "trusted" charitable foundation. If you would like more information on Rotary Foundation, please visit - https://www.rotary.org/en/about-rotary/rotary-foundation
The date of the dinner is April, 2025 and more details will be made available as they are nailed down.
I have attached below the pledge form that Bill talked about as well. You can print it off or contact Carolyn Ferguson. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask either Ghislaine or Yvonne Weir (Foundation Committee Chairs) or Bill Hagborg or myself.
