Rotary Fellowships are international groups that share a common passion. Being part of a fellowship is a fun way to make friends around the world, explore a hobby or profession, and enhance your Rotary experience.
Thank you to Rhyan Tourout for introducing us to Packsac Smiles organization at our meeting on Monday. This amazing group of volunteers' mandate is: “We provide children with the essentials required for school, trusting that this will assist in increasing the child’s self-esteem, as well as create a positive experience towards returning each year. We sponsor children that will benefit from our program, chosen directly by the schools based on their knowledge of the child’s needs and situation. Confidentiality is a priority for us. Once a child is chosen, volunteers shop with care, customizing each backpack. Volunteers then sort and deliver these backpacks to students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8 in North Bay and surrounding areas serving both the English and French Public and Separate School Boards.”

Camp Tillicum Clean-up day! What a great day…the rain held off until we were just about finished and when it did start to drizzle, the wonderful group of volunteers just kept going! Assistant Governor Peter joined in the work and fun plus as a bonus, brought South African sausage - what a treat! Thank you to all those that came out (i think the count was 28 total!) First timer's to the Camp were very impressed by the building and the property. The Camp really is such a treasure!

Keep an eye on your email inbox on or about June 1st, as members will be receiving an invoice for our annual club dues for Rotary year 2026-2027. Payment to continue your Rotary membership should be received by Friday, June 19, 2026. If you do not intend on renewing your membership, please send an email to rotaryclubofnorthbay@gmail.comno later than June 19th. It is important to pay your dues by the deadline as the club has strict payment deadlines with Rotary International and District 7010, and we do not want to make unnecessary payments for those who have decided to discontinue their membership. Thank you for your cooperation.
