100 Years of Community Service
A number of Rotarians from all three Clubs attended the Flag Raising to mark 100 years of Rotary in the community. It was a chilly day with a few flakes of snow falling but the sun was shining and smiles were bright! Thank you to the members that were able to make it to hear the proclamation by Mayor Chirico. There is a really nice article in Bay Today as well.

Donna Terhorst, Public Health Nurse, was our guest speaker on Monday to talk about the Healthy Families program. If you missed the meeting and wanted to hear about this vital program, here is the recording link:

We received a very nice Thank You letter from Tammy Morrison, President and CEO of the NBRHC Foundation to thank us for the donation of $25,000 towards the Retinal Camera. We are hoping to set up a tour of the hospital to see the equipment in the near future.

Don't forget - there is no meeting on May 22 - hope you all enjoy a great long weekend. I know the weather forecast does not look good for picnics in the park but hopefully the forecast is wrong or we can squeeze out some nice weather.

Our next meeting on May 29th is the Club Council. The question was asked at our last meeting about inviting guests to the Club Council. There is no rule against inviting guests - it is not that guests are not allowed - it is just that we will be discussing Club Business so it is not a typical meeting. New members are definitely invited to share their ideas!
If you have any questions on this, please do let me know.
