Our speaker at our meeting on Monday inspired a lot of discussion around a very important topic affecting not only our community but communities all over Canada. Carol Kauppi, Director of the Centre for Research in Social Justice and Policy, gave us some incredible insight into the homeless issues. We had a number of guests on hand as well to hear her message and findings of her studies. Here is a link to her presentation: Poverty, Homelessness and Migration in Northern Ontario in case you were not able to attend the meeting.
