Rotary Weekend / PETS 2023
This annual event is aimed at those coming into a leadership role in the new year with the club BUT it is not only for those positions.
The weekend is open to all Rotarians and it is especially a great weekend for those new to Rotary and even long time Rotarians to get updated information on all things Rotary. Our incoming District Governor, Juanita Hodgson, will talk about "The Year Ahead" and many of the District Chairs will be presenting. Best news, this is happening right here in North Bay! Here is the link to view the agenda and registration details:

For Rotary Year 2023-2024, District 7010 will match Club district grant project investments 2:1 to a maximum of $2,000 CAD. For example:
- $500 (club) + $1,000 (district grant) = $1,500 income
- $1,000 (club) + $2,000 (district grant) = $3,000 income
- $2,000 (club) + $2,000 (district grant) = $4,000 income
In order to apply for District Grants, the Club must have at least 2 members go through the training. Please take a look at the Grants website for more details. Copy and paste this link into your browser:

Committees should look at applying for District Grants as the funds are limited so "first come, first serve" to the money....... the sooner we can get two members certified through the on-line training, the sooner we can get an application in.
Our Club was successful in obtaining two grants last year - both of them with the funds being designated around our 100 year anniversary events.

**** if anyone would like information or some training on navigating the Club, District or Rotary International websites (including Clubrunner - which is the platform most Clubs use), please let either Colin Thacker or Grace Doiron know and we can look at setting up a training session*********
