Our outbound Youth Exchange student, Tala Woodhouse, arrived in Taiwan and is now with her host family. We look forward to hearing about her adventures and hear her story when she returns.
Our inbound, Olaia Gestal-Busselo arrived on August 13th and after a gruelling 6 hour drive from the airport, is getting all the things needed to be set up done. Her official welcome will be at our August 31st meeting and depending how she survived the camping weekend in Algonquin this weekend, she may be at the meeting on Monday. Natalie MacDougall will be her counsellor while she is here and she will be going to her first host family on August 27th which is Tala's home. Welcome, Olaia!
