Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those impacted by the devasting flooding and landslides in Nepal and surrounding areas. We are holding out hope for the search and rescue efforts. So many people still missing and so many that have lost everything.
Please think about donating to Shelter Box to help those who will need this service so desperately.
Here is the link to the web site: ShelterBox Canada - Emergency Disaster Relief or you can contact Jeff Celentano, our club's representative.

We’re inviting our partners, community members and friends of the YMCA to roll up their sleeves and join us for a meaningful morning of giving back at Rotary Camp Tillicum with a Community Clean-Up Event.
For generations, Rotary's Camp Tillicum has been a special place for our community, and every summer YMCA campers get the opportunity to explore, play, learn and make memories there. As the season comes to a close and the camp prepares for the winter season, we’re coming together to help clean up and care for the space that has given so much to our campers.
Based on our shared values, we wanted to extend the invitation to you and the Family of Rotary to lend a hand and leave this beautiful space a little better than we found it. Lunch will be provided for all volunteers.
Community Clean-Up at Rotary Camp Tillicum
Date: Friday, September 18
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Location: Rotary Camp Tillicum
Whether you can lend a hand for the whole morning or simply want to spend some time outdoors connecting with others and doing something positive for our community, we’d love to have you join us.
Together, we can help care for a place that creates so many meaningful experiences for YMCA campers each summer and ensure we leave it ready to rest for the winter.
If you’d like to participate, please RSVP to mikayla.hobbs@ymcaneo.ca by Friday September 11th.
We hope to see you there!
