During the month of May we celebrate our Rotary youth programs. Rotary Youth Exchange builds peace one young person at a time.  Students learn a new language, discover another culture, and truly become global citizens. Exchanges for students ages 15-19 are sponsored by Rotary clubs in more than 100 countries.  Here one exchange student's story:

We had a chance to meet staff and students from St. Joseph Scollard Hall High School on Monday.  The school has a volunteer group called The Bears Who Care and they talked about the incredible work they do in our community for those in need.  The group was awarded the YMCA Peace Medal November, 2025. Great example of the wonderful youth in our community!

June 20th - Annual Rose Day - yes, a day to treat your friends, family, co-workers and business associates to a dozen roses!  This is a fundraiser that helps with international service projects, local community projects and some of the Club's administrative costs.  Send a dozen roses to someone special - details on how to follow!

Here is an update from Trudy who we miss very much and are so looking forward to seeing her back at a meeting soon!

Trudy will be back in Canada at the end of this month.  She has a fantastic healthcare team in place who have come up with a plan with her American doctors.  She misses everyone very much and can't wait to be back at the meetings when she is able.

Trudy, from your Rotary family, we are all sending best wishes, safe travels, many hugs and looking forward to sharing laughter and breaking bread with you!
