ROTARY CLUB OF NORTH BAY - WEEKLY BULLETIN
July 23, 2025
Tuesday's meeting gave us a glimpse into the amazing life of Noah Dugas and even after his passing what a difference he is making!  Thank you to Noah's aunt for sharing his story.  If you wanted to read more about Noah and the ongoing work being done in Noah's memory, here is the link to the web site:

This has been a busy month for the “Big Cheque” presentations to a few of the many deserving organizations that reach out to help so many in our community.  We made a presentation to HANDS which will go towards their Autism for Youth section.
On July 17th we visited Cassellholme to see the TriBike that our club purchased.  Here is the story from the paper:

There will be no meeting on Tuesday, July 29th.  Next meeting will be August 5th and we will be talking about Rotary Fellowships.  There are about 120 different Rotary Fellowships.

Rotary Fellowships are international groups that share a common passion. Being part of a fellowship is a fun way to make friends around the world, explore a hobby or profession, and enhance your Rotary experience.

Here is a link to the Rotary Fellowship web site for more information:  Rotary Fellowships | Rotary International

Thank you, Steve for stepping up to the role of Sgt. At Arms for our meetings.  No “fines” were issued but there were hints about things to come in future meetings….

Rotary Learning Institute (known as RLI) finished up the first phase a short time ago and Jeff Hobbs was presented with his certificate.  RLI is a great way to learn all about Rotary - not just our club or district but to also gain a better awareness of Rotary internationally as well.  Great work, Jeff!  Phase two is coming up in November!

Don't forget to register for the District Retreat - you can register for any one you wish to attend (or more if you wanted to visit with Rotary friends from other clubs).  Here is the web site to visit:  https://district7010conference.com/  for all the information.

Fun Fact - I saw this write up about the Rotary Bell and never knew the history behind why we have a bell.  I thought I would share with you!

See you on Tuesday, August 5th for the next meeting!
