A group of members have returned from the Rotary International Convention that took place in Calgary this year. There were some amazing speakers, great information booths in the Friendship hall and a lot of fellowship! Francesco Arezzo, a member of the Rotary Club of Ragusa, Italy, has been selected by the Board of Directors to become Rotary International’s president for 2025-26. We heard his address and if you wanted more information on Francesco, please visit: https://www.rotary.org/en
Just copy and paste this site to your browser or go into the Rotary International website for more information on the convention as well.
The next convention is taking place in Taipei!

6 District Retreats are happening this year instead of one District Conference - this is a new concept and the organizing committee needs someone from our club to help out with the organizing. If you are able to help, this would be for the Little Current retreat on Sept. 13-14 please let either Jeff Hobbs or myself know.
Don't forget to register for the District Retreat - you can register for any one you wish to attend (or more if you wanted to visit with Rotary friends from other clubs). Here is the web site to visit: https://district7010conference.com/ for all the information.
