We had a visit from Rotarian Lynn Lewis who gave us some great information about a Rotary Golf Fellowship. Her presentation showed some of the beautiful golf courses she has played and the people she has met through this fellowship. There are over 100 fellowships so visit My Rotary and see all the different fellowships!
There will be no club meeting on August 12th - we are having a fellowship night on The Boat on August 15th starting at 6:30 PM. Your MC's will be Rhyan Tourout and Steve Sampson so be ready for a fun-filled evening!
Don't forget to set up committee meeting with your committee members for August 19th at Cecil's Map Room. We will have 30 min at the start to hear from our District Governor, Sandi Campbell, take care of some club business then the remaining 30 min. will be devoted to your committee meeting. Committee chairs, please ensure you connect with your committee members to have them attend.
We are planning on going to Camp Tillicum on Sept. 7th from 11AM-2 PM to do the clean up. There will be a free BBQ and this event is open to all Rotarians as well as family and friends. More details will follow but do put this date in your calendars for now!
August 20th - Big Cheque presentation to West Nipissing General Hospital in Sturgeon Falls at 3:00 PM
August 20th - Pollinator Garden Weeding - open to all. We normally start at 9:00AM so can finish up before it gets too hot!
August 25 - Bingo stuffing at Rorab Shrine 1260 Brooke St. Doors will be open from 4:30 PM so if you can't make it until later, no worry - we will make sure and have some envelopes to stuff for you!

Our club's retreat will be taking place in Little Current. The venue looks amazing and as always, great speakers are lined up. It will be a great chance to meet Rotarians from around our district and see what other clubs are doing!
