The Fill the Bus Campaign is wrapping up tomorrow - YOUR Help is needed - please do stop by the YMCA from 3:30 PM to enjoy the "pool party"!  The YMCA is looking for Rotarians to volunteer at various stations/events so hopefully you can come out to help.

Important notice:  Monday, November 18 the regular Club meeting will take place at Average Joe's.  There is ample parking in the lower lot which will take you to the meeting room for those that need to park closer to the entrance.  Same start time for the meeting - noon - and there is a special menu they have prepared for us.  Incoming President Jeff Hobbs will chair the meeting.  There will be Zoom available for those that cannot attend in person.  Here is the Zoom link information in case any of you are not able to get in through the web site link:

We had 6 members of our club attend the District Conference this past weekend and it was a weekend packed full of great speakers, fellowship was definitely a big part with presentations from the Youth Exchange group both inbound and outbound.  What a great group of young people from many countries!  The speakers were inspiring and recharged us with reasons for being a part of Rotary.

Monday's meeting will focus on Foundation and Polio in support of this month's Rotary theme of Foundation.  Dr. David Tisch will give us an update on Polio in the world and District Foundation Chair, Margaret Walton will also talk about Foundation.

We have two high schools that the Youth Exchange committee will be presenting to on Thursday to find that one student to support as an outbound from our Club.  If we do find the right person, we will finally be able to say we are back in the Youth Exchange program.

We will be asking for support from you in offering &/or finding families to host so please ask friends/family if they could support this extremely important program by hosting an inbound student for at least 3 months.  Please let either Bill Hagborg, Gisele Lynch or myself know of anyone able to help.

If you wanted more information on the Youth Exchange program, please go to this link.  It has some amazing personal stories as well.
