We had our annual Rotary Golf Tournament with about 28 golfers showing up for a perfect day of golf and fellowship. Thank you to Jeff Rogerson for ensuring the rain stayed away and giving us a beautiful day! I heard rumors about a lot of birdies by Bill H but there are no pictures to prove his claim. Still lots of time left for more golf so enjoy!
Our meeting on Tuesday, August 5th will be in keeping with the summer days and golf - Lynn Lewis who is part of the Rotary Golf Fellowship will be giving us some information about Rotary Fellowships and what they are all about. Join us at Cecil's Map Room at noon to hear from Lynn.
District Governor Sandi will be at our meeting via Zoom as well! Come out to hear her updates and plans for District 7010.

July 23rd we were at the bandshell with our Rotary tent to take part in the Centennial Festival. There were many tents set up and a large group of Heritage Gardeners in their green aprons. Huge thank you to all the Heritage Gardener volunteers for the work they do in keeping the lakeshore gardens so beautiful! We were invited to set up a tent and gave out 100 bags of sunflower seeds. We had a great group of people from both Nipissing club and our club show up. We even had ShadMan come over for a visit!
We are still looking for someone to volunteer for the District Retreat organizing! 6 District Retreats are happening this year instead of one District Conference - this is a new concept and the organizing committee needs someone from our club to help out with the organizing. If you are able to help, this would be for the Little Current retreat on Sept. 13-14 please let either Jeff Hobbs or myself know.

This weekend is the North Bay Homecoming Festival.
